Portfolio

I am a UX designer with a background in architecture, product strategy, and design leadership. I work best with complex products where the right direction is not immediately clear.

A large part of my work is making those decisions clearer: finding the real problem, seeing what is structural and what is superficial, deciding what should change and what is better left alone, and helping a team build a shared sense of quality.

Current work

My current focus is Design Reasoning Lens, a framework for bringing ethical reasoning into everyday design decisions.

Design Reasoning Lens

Independent research / Responsible design

Design Reasoning Lens started with a simple question: how do we judge a design decision when its effects extend beyond the interface?

DRL looks at the assumptions behind a decision, the systems around it, and the consequences it can create over time. I am developing it as both a framework for ethical design reasoning and an AI-assisted screening tool.

The aim is to bring these questions into ordinary design work early enough to influence what gets built.

Selected product work

These projects come from different parts of my UX career. Each involved a different kind of uncertainty and required more than producing a good interface.

Zipify OCU

Lead UX designer / E-commerce

The product had outgrown the way design worked inside the company. I moved design earlier into product decisions, built a clearer feedback loop, and led a gradual improvement strategy instead of a full redesign.

Esports Platform

Head of design / Esports

I led discovery, defined the MVP, and built the design team for a data-heavy esports platform. The product launched, but we could not scale it technically. The main constraint was the data infrastructure behind the experience, which depended heavily on third-party sources.

UX designer / Lead UX designer / Enterprise

The product needed modernization, but not every old pattern was a problem. I worked on information architecture, shared standards, and a new UX foundation while preserving workflows that still had value for experienced users.

What shapes my work

Architecture taught me to think about structure, proportion, context, and the effect of changing one part of a larger system.

Art, history, philosophy, technology, music, opera, ballet, visual culture, and reading have added other ways of looking at the same problem. They affect what I notice, the questions I ask, and how I judge whether something feels coherent or unresolved.

I bring that background into product work naturally. I do not see design as a separate technical discipline.

Contact

I am interested in roles where design helps shape product direction, and where leadership includes building a strong shared sense of quality across the team.
