The Corner

This project is dedicated to the Corner of my room, the one I look at every evening. I assembled it from things that define my daily space: books, my own ceramics, images, small objects, records, and candles. This place reflects my tastes, interests, and the way I arrange the environment around me. Long before the project began, the Corner had already been changing slowly through my choices and habits.

Over seven days, I photograph the Corner, each time placing the previous photograph back into the space before taking the next one. Each new image contains an earlier state of the same place, and the Corner gradually begins to carry a visible history of itself.

Through this process, I give the space a form of memory.
