After Many Gods

The project begins with the Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and with the shared history that connects them.

I became interested in how the idea of one God emerged within a religious world where many gods were worshipped, and how this idea later developed into different traditions of its own.

The three ceramic forms grow from the same structure and remain physically connected. I use this shared material body to think about a common origin that does not lead to sameness.
